New Year new shoots.

Two shoots in a month recently,one with a model Ive worked with many times Daria Pipcynzka,it was a studio shoot in York,I find my studio photography to be hit and miss so was very surprised to see results of this one ,and be happy with results!

Next was a model from Purpleport model forum site :Gabriella,I had use of a nice apartment in Huddersfield which had lots of daylight which came in handy.The shoot was boudoir/lingerie.See a few shots below.

Ive included a screenshot of how I did the processing of this particular image. I don't mess with images too much,just skin adjustments and tweak colors. So here is original picture alongside finished one:

New blood

A chance posting on my Facebook fan page led to a shoot with Bryony Jade. Only her second shoot I think but she was up for all my ideas and fun to shoot.
We did various glamour and underwear shots but suprisingly these two shots of a "team GB olympic" theme(union jack) were among best.

Theatrical model shoot

Having found a really cool old venue in Manchester-The Hipperdrome in Hulme an 1800's built theatre which is in dire need of restoration; the man in charge Tony Wright very kindly allowed me and model Portia to do a shoot there.It's always a challenge when using studio lights on location lack of space, lack of power points but I think I pulled it off on this shoot.The idea was to bring out some of the theatre's wonderful decor,as a backdrop for the model. Particularly the stained glass "Exit" doors(bottom pictures)which were an important feature of the building for this photoshoot.Portia gave some good poses,and I tried some unusual angles to try and get as much of the doors into the photos.

Zara Abigail

Gorgeous redhead Zara Abigail had a model shoot with me recently,with a mass of red curls which came in handy on some shots. Abigail was classic fashion model size, slim and tall ,and we rattled through a two and a half hour shoot on a  high fashion theme. Later that day she came second in a national beauty contest too, so a job well done.See more shots of Zara in the fashion photography gallery
